cape town is lovely

we took cape town by storm last week on a business trip & stayed in the most lovely b&b - not even a minute's walk away is a proper pub where we met up with my awesome fashion friend - she had some super long story about her set of lost/stolen car keys - moral of the story don't buy a renault - keys need to be imported & this does not come cheap

we had dinner at davinci's on kloof street - lots of fun for pizzas & wine - did some window shopping pretty much everywhere we went - cape town has the most quaint little stores

i only took a few pics but thought they'd be fun to share

singing in the rain

today is just soooooooo gorgeous. enjoying the grey skies and dressing in winter woolies (well sort of winter woolies). plus sleeping next to my heater husband when it's chilly is so cosy. it's great weather for soup so i've started trying out chili potato soups, butternut, tomato. i'm loving all the window displays with think knits & ankle booties...things are just really awesome.
