this is another flippen amazing friend of mine. she's a total foodie. her food is delectable. really. you can't get enough.

she runs her own catering business & of late has started teaching/hosting cooking classes. last night some mates & i tried our hand at what she terms effortless entertaining & we loved every second of it. we drank wine, made food, chatted, laughed (like in all the time) & finally ate all our hard work. it was just marvelous.

this is my office. my little corner with two windows (over looking the glorious parking lots either side of me a.k.a my paved paradise). it's the space i sit in (mostly) everyday. the space that i have all kinds of highs & lows. it's a colourful space. with lots of barbie pink.

there's no place like home

on our way back to sunny SA today. looking forward to 23 hours in transit & spending my 29th birthday in the sky. literally. we leave tonight (friday night) and arrive at OR T on sunday - missing my entire birthday.

LA has been awesome but today i miss my husband. my house. all my familiarities. i found some pictures of the house we spent a weekend in for my friend's 30th. man i miss home. i'm such a home body.

on saturday i'm off to los angeles with vivi. it's a business trip but we're super stoked. i'm so stoked that i've already started packing. total nerd. i've got all the essentials. mr price will also be proud to know half their merchandise will be making the journey with me.

my friend cait is currently in nyc and has already warned how amazing their summer ranges are. eeeeeeeek! cannot wait to get myself into a h&m or anthropologie.

when i'm back i'll give a report on all the amazing fashions.

9 of us went to the bush this previous weekend for one of by best friend's 30th. i must say that the single weekend was more invigorating that my entire december holiday. i think it had something to do with this pool/deck area overlooking the mountains...
